Leoda’s Maui
Amazing pies, great sandwiches, salads, and epic brussel sprouts are worth a stop when traveling between South and West Maui.

The Food
My regular order rotates between the reuben 17 and the seared-ahi sandwich on freshly baked bread. When they have brussel sprouts, I always get them. Sweet, crispy, and perfect!
They have great burgers too, along with salads.
The Pies
You basically have to buy at least one pie when visiting. My favorites? Olowalu Lime, Banana Cream, Chocolate Haupia, or Apple Crumble. If it’s a “just pie” visit, we’ll grab 2-3 for later.
Portions are hearty without being heavy, and the timing matters. We aim for late morning (about 10–11am) or later afternoon to miss the lunch rush. Leoda’s is open daily 10am-6pm, and online ordering helps skip the line on busy days. Turnover is frequent as most guests are in-and-out.
Service
You order at the counter, even when eating in. The line moves pretty quickly. It’s hit or miss whether you get a friendly staff member helping you, but again, it’s a quick order and worth it.
Leoda’s is a reliable, quick stop with house-baked breads and pies worth a detour. Go for the sandwiches, stay for the mini pies, and don’t wait until closing if Banana Cream is on your must-eat list. Pies go quick!
